Worsley C.C

About the Club

Worsley Cricket Club was formed in 1846 when the local landowner, the 1st Earl of Ellesmere, decided to improve the lot of his tenants by upgrading the local facilities.
We run 3 senior teams and 3 juniors teams for boys and girls at Under 12, 14 and 16 years of age.
Whether you are a junior looking to play, a parent or a more experienced player or coach wanting to join a new Club, find out all about us - who to contact, our facilities and how to join. Get involved!
We are part of the Ellesmere Sports Club which also offers Tennis, Bowls, Croquet and Squash.Additionally we have excellent social facilities with bars, function room, in house caterers and a Bar Manager.
We are always looking to find new members of any age group and whatever standard who enjoy cricket including the social aspects!
